The Wal-Mart Experience

Hugh Hewitt is amazed by Wal-Mart hatred, but I agree with my colleague Matt at Stones Cry Out, here and here. I shop at Wal-Mart for convenience, but hate it and yearn for alternatives. Unfortunately, Target is only slightly more attractive. If the superstore concept is the only way that makes sense economically, how about introducing some character. Like Wegmans has done in the northeast with the grocery store experience.
